Transition
Prior to commencing school all children participate in our CPC to Reception
transition programme. The transition programme operates to allow
a smooth start in the Reception class. Transition programmes occur
in the latter part of the child’s final term in the CPC. By spending
time with the Reception class prior to starting school, the children
settle in and become familiar with the new teacher routines, expectations
and school environment. Information regarding this programme
can be obtained from the CPC manager.
Parents of new enrolments are invited to the school for an informal meeting with the Principal and the reception teacher. Parents are advised of the date and time by letter.
