Before School Care
Hours of Operation
Kilkenny Before School Care hours of operation are from 7.00am to 9.00am Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays).
Routine at Kilkenny Before School Care
- 7.00 – 8.15 Breakfast will be served. Children will have a choice of a variety of Cereals and Breads. Children will be provided with Juice/Milk/Milo or water.
- 7.00 – 8.45 Children may participate in quiet activities such as drawing, board games and watching television. (Children are only permitted to watch G rated movies or programs that are age/stage appropriate) Children are welcome to do homework and staff will assist if the child requires help.

After School Care
Hours of Operation
Kilkenny After School Care hours of operation are from 3.15pm to 6.00pm Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays).
We offer a 2.15pm – 6.00pm long afternoon session on the last day
of term for Kilkenny Primary Students and a long day care facility from
7.30am to 6.00pm on Pupil Free Days.
Arrival and Departure
A staff member will collect children coming from Kindy, Reception or grades1 to the OSHC building or until the child/parent is comfortable allowing the child to walk from their classroom to the OSHC building.

Program and Planning
Kilkenny
After School Care Program and planning reflects the individual needs
and cultural diversity of the community and tries to incorporate the views
of parents/guardians and OSHC children.
The program is developed on a weekly basis and is varied to be inclusive of all children within the service. Our program encompasses activities that reflect parts of the school life, indoor and outdoor play, Arts, Craft and recreational areas and leisure activities.
All experiences
are culturally, developmentally and educationally relevant to the
needs of your child.
Vacation Care

Kilkenny Vacation Care hours of operation are from 7.00am to 6.00pm Monday
to Friday (excluding Public Holidays).
Program and Planning
Kilkenny Primary School Vacation Care Service offers a very unique
Program that promotes children to play and explore activities and
experiences that are more suited to their abilities and interest by dividing
children into two age/ stage groups.
Group A – Children aged between 4 years to 8 years.
Group B – Children aged between 9 years to 12years.
At Kilkenny Vacation Care we strive to promote a safe, fun environment for all children that attend our service. We a have a variety of excursions and in house activities that are highlighted through out our program and planning. All program go out to parents 5 weeks prior to holidays.
Routines and Daily programming will be located on the display board for parents/Caregivers and children to read. This will allow both children and Parents/Caregivers a larger understanding of what is occurring during the day.
